I am a contemporary Māori Visual Artist. Residing in Aotearoa New Zealand, of Ngati Ranginui, Ngati Mahanga, Te Aupouri descent. I am an established artist based in Whaingaroa, Raglan.

In 2003 I was accepted into the renowned Contemporary Māori Visual Art School “Toihoukura” in the City of Gisborne, where I completed a Diploma in Arts and Design, and an advanced Diploma. Whilst studying at Toihoukura I received the Jack Richard Art Scholarship Award in 2005. I then went onto completing the bachelor of Arts Degree, graduating in 2007.

Having diversified into other art medium’s, I have expanded my ability to create contemporary design within a traditional context on conceptual multimedia art forms, being at ease whether working in Paint, Sculpture, or Tā Moko (Māori Tattoo).
